SPD are an excellent company in every respect, in my experience. I have bought three products from them: floor tiles, wall tiles and, now, cork on a roll. The service has always been outstanding. I needed some additional advice and Becky could not have been more helpful. I was also amazed at how quickly my emails were replied to - a refreshing change from most other similar situations. I have just been putting up the cork on a roll on my walls. I bought it for insulation and was intending to paint or paper over it but it looks so good that we are keeping it natural. We bought the thinnest cork on a roll because we wanted to keep the profile of our coving as much as possible. The cork does tear a little at the edge, as one of the other reviewers said, but, as soon as I became aware of this, I took extra care and then had no more tears at all, 'papering' 2 walls with it. It was tricky to get just the right amount of glue to get the cork to stick and I tried different methods before cracking it. I wish I had practised a bit more before I started in a really obvious place but that's me being over-confident. I'd like to thank everyone at this company for making it a pleasure to buy from them.
