The Vanishingstore Company

Too late I saw all the reviews on TrustPilot, otherwise I would never Have bought from this company. Ordered a Henry vacuum cleaner which hasn't turned up. No means of contacting the company , they just take your money and disappear. Now I have the hassle to get my money back in 30 days through the credit card company. And I can't clean the house until I can buy a vacuum cleaner somewhere else! Aarrgghh!!

No delivery of item - payment taken.

Purchased GHD hair straighteners as a birthday present on the 27 August. Payment taken 28 August but no delivery and no response to emails/phone calls. The phone line is just a voice mail service. I hope I'm wrong about this company but it seems to be a scam. I'll be reporting them to the financial ombudsman if nothing happens in the next day.

Can't get hold of The Variety Store

I am trying to get hold of the Variety Store on 0207 1646293 there is never an answer! All I need the Variety Store to do is to raise a complaint with DPD regarding a problem with delivery for order 10010135 so that I can get the Police involved. No answer to email just voicemail on the phone and never a call back RUBBISH

Give your money to your favourite charity and not these people. You will never receive anything from them let alone your money back. You can't even get through to them using thousands of calls abd emails! AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID

Ordered ghd hair Straighteners with free 3-5 day delivery 11 days ago, have emailed them and tried calling them as apparently this receives the "fastest response" from them, had no reply to emails and just a machine telling me the Variety store are not available, how is this company still allowed to do business? Would love any alternative contact numbers to the one on the website if anyone's got any

BAD COP, GOOD COP

Goods had not arrived and company did not answer phone calls or emails. After giving a bad TRUST PILOT review the item arrived the same evening by special delivery.

Terrible

Returned our products 4 months ago and have not had a refund or even a reply to countless emails. No one answers the phone even. Just awful.

Avoid like the plague!

Money taken out immediately...but goods never materialised.....impossible to get thro on phone...first batch of emails finally got a response offloading me to the stockist who were waiting for another batch...when they failed to contact me about new stock I phone the stockist again only to be told that they would no longer deal with variety!,,Another batch of emails and phone calls to variety all met with silence and when I made contact with the business centre where they are situated I was told they were probably in liquidation... Claimed money back on debit card thro chargeback via bank...the latter were more than helpful

Silence of the Tomb to customer's queries.

I've ordered and paid for in full 2 Zen Chairs on 28th July. On website it said 3-5 weeks delivery. Since 14 days I have now sent emails, online chat messages, called the 0800 number! NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER. TODAY I CHECKED WITH COMPANIES HOUSE WHETHER THIS COMPANY IS STILL TRADING. Yes, they are. I wonder if the company Director [Name] , realises how customers are treated and more importantly, the apalling silence and zero response to my queries on an update on my delivery. I have instructed my bank to claim for non delivery of goods. I would rather buy somewhere else for more money and better customer service.

Wrong item, failed to exchange, uncontactable

Put it this way, I'm about to involve trading standards and am checking consumer law. Wrong item delivered, took forever to hear back from them, 'computer says no' young lad and no answer on the phone number or emails, finally to add insult to injury they failed to collect the item or make any contact. This shambles of a company had better put their insurers on notice. And I am very happy to provide proof of purchase, just in case anyone wants it.
