Avoid! Done hpi check on the car I have bought. No record shown of car being stolen or damaged. Tried to register car with DVLA and found out the car is cat B and can not be registered on Uk roads. After letter sent to regit the reply was “Basic Check is not covered by any guarantees or warranties” which means I was left with car that’s not roadworthy and lost loads of money! What is this hpi check for then and why had to pay for it?avoid! Avoid!
