I have used WCF for over 25 year's, I dont know what has gone wrong but delivery, cancelled and rescheduled after already questioning the wait fir delivery and explaingvthat I would likely run out after waiting 2 weeks for my delivery, this never used to be the case, WCF always #used to go above and beyond to deluver an excellent service, sadly things appear to have changed, so, head office, whatever your new structure is, it isn't working. If it is a transitional problem you are facing, then you need to explain this to your customers

appalled with the service. orderd 1000L as did the neighbours, notified on a delivery date and they have not kept to it on either delivery, they then said it would be a couple of days- still awaiting delivery, no refunds for delay or explanation other than running a couple of days behind, i asked if they could call a couple of days ahead of delivery date to ensure we would be aware they are running as they state a couple of days behind to allow us to either pick up a drum of oil to last the remainding days. this was not something they could do even knowing they are running a couple of days behind across the board! not satisfied at all kids at home and no heating and refuse to go and get yet another 60L drum to tide us over past our delivery time again! DO NOT USE STEER CLEAR not the cheapest and not the service you pay for!
BUYING GROUP MORE EXPENSIVE! BEWARE!
DONT BE MISLED BY THE SO CALLED CHANDLERS “BUYING GROUP” THEY ARE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN SOME OTHERS AND CERTAINLY NO CHEAPER! Very misleading! You DO NOT get your heating oil any cheaper because you are in a buying group! We have continually found oil 2-3p a litre cheaper elsewhere locally compared to the so called buying group at Chandlers! DESPITE THEM SELLING TENS OF THOUSANDS OF LITRES through your buying group, it is more expensive than buying a thousand litres!
Delay delay delay. Poor communication
Ordered 600L heating oil nearly 4 weeks ago. Website issues meant my first order wasn't processed. Subsequent order has been postponed three times and on the re-re-scheduled delivery day I got a call at 16:15 saying it's been postponed again and they'll 'try and get it to you in the next couple of days'. Poor communication, no forthcoming offer of a refund for the extra money paid for faster delivery (I did get this but had to request) and still no oil. We're now out of oil and have no heating, the house is 11 degrees. Thankfully there aren't any children or old people in the house. A cold and frustrated first time (and last time) customer.

Pleasure to deal with. Phoned up ordered fuel. (You can do it online to) fuel delivery came guy put it in tank and left a delivery note. I was in but to be far I didn’t need to be.
