Clogged drain
Frank August 2024. I unfortunately can’t give less than 1Star rating. I have spent over $700 between to different Jiffy Plumbing “Pros”. (Far from a pro). My sink in a bathroom was first clogged November 23, after living in the home for 22 years. I paid $240 for the “pro” who claimed to have cleared the clog and the draining would be as it was when we first moved into the home in 2001. Lies less than 10 months later same issue, now nothing was put down the drain other than the standard organic stuff that is used in a bathroom. ( Hair, makeup, tooth paste. Ext). Once again I booked a “Pro” and the second he walked into my Home he said I will Make your drain back to new.before I leave. Unfortunately for me $494 later no resolutions lots of excuses and suggestions to do further investigation. Obviously at an additional charge. I tried to contact customer service and their only means of contact is txt and email. They claim to not have access to phones. I want to warn anyone’s considering this service to explore other options. There services are horrible and their lack of customer service is is even worse.

My child's pair of jiffies lasted exactly one wear before the paint started peeling. Just ridiculous waste of money.
Jiffy is a total scam
Jiffy is a total scam , I was a jiffy pro for a while until they decided to text me claiming to be a client, then THEY offered me to pay me outside the app, and of course with the 30% they take from every job I do , I accepted , turned out to be a setup and they used that to ban me from jiffy pro , I was doing very well for them and had a constant 5 star rating. Their loss. The winter times are completely dead , maybe a few jobs popped up throughout November to February, they claimed to always have jobs coming up daily , but that wasn’t true .. If your looking to become a jiffy pro , be careful, don’t depend on them for work to survive , know that they take 30% from you off every job you complete , and if you ever receive a text from claiming to be a previous jiffy client , it’s most likely a setup.
Don’t use them if you’re don’t want to…
Don’t use them if you’re don’t want to get ripped off!
Im a Jiffy Pro and I love the service
Im a Jiffy Pro and I love the service. As long as your being transparent with clients its a great way to stay busy during slower times. Great customer service team to help out when Pros have issues and the app is very easy to use. Highly recommend to professionals looking to grow their business. Plus the service fee is a write-off during tax season!
If you are considering becoming a pro…
If you are considering becoming a pro for jiffy DONT! They take 30% right off the top for any work you complete. Their support for pros is pretty much non-existant. They will try to trick you by reaching out to your personally outside of the jiffy app and try to get you to agree to doing work outside of the app just so they can penalize you. They also told me they were going to shadow ban my account because i called in to complain about their service and support toward pros. They will hound you down if you dont reply to clients within in their time frame but then when you want to talk to them you have to book an appointment thats 3 days out. These guys are an absolute joke of a company and if you have any dignity you will not want to work for these scumbags.

Update Feb, 2024
Update Feb, 2024. Jiffy charges contractors (AKA Jiffy Pros) 30% for rate-based and 20% for quoted jobs—$ 75 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours to Jiffy clients ordering services from the app. Jiffy takes 30% of the total job, which is completely insane! A contractor pays for insurance, gas, and tools. Imagine being tooled, trucked & experienced so you can spend 3 hours of your day to make $105. Jiffy does not pay travel time to contractors, so you have to account for the time spent getting to people. You can take more than one job per day, but with crazy traffic most days and no guarantee of a second job coming from the app, you can be assured the pay is crap for someone with extensive experience.
I worked for Jiffy as a contractor
I worked for Jiffy as a contractor, and Jiffy is starting with lower fee for new contractors 22% and then fee goes up another 8% with thumbs down from customers, and the scam part that it's all fakes to bring the contractors fees up as much as possible. Recently they changed the fees and started to charge up to 40%, that's total scam, if you are a contractor, have some respect to yourself and do not let croocks like Jiffy pro to make money on you.
Do not recommend
Used Jiffy quite a few times, had an issue with the service twice and filed warranty claimed, they were resolved, but after this we we re banned from using the service. They are looking for glowing reviews and do not want you to use these highly promised warranty service which is essentially the only way this service is different from anything else you can find yourself without paying any fees to them.
