WOW! I can honestly say that the last two days have been absolutely incredible! I have been in the industry for 8 years, and attend many courses each year, however this has been hands down the BEST course I have been on! Kate is not only so welcoming, friendly and warm hearted, she has so much knowledge and goes above and beyond for her students! After following Kate on Instagram for a while I saw her consultation course and it jumped out at me as something I needed to do ! So glad I did it was very in depth but easy to understand as kate has a lovely way of explaining especially the anatomy side of things which can be so overwhelming. I highly recommend this course and would love to do further training with Kate in the future. I had the most amazing facial with kate at her beautiful academy. Kate made me feel so welcome and at ease. I was greeted straight from my car and welcomed into the space. The room was so cosy and relaxing, it smelt amazing and felt like a real escape from busy city life. We chatted before starting about my lifestyle, stressors and what i wanted to get out of the session, Kate made sure everything was explained. The actual facial was incredible, kate worked mainly on releasing tension in my neck, shoulders and jaw which felt amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and kate went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and i was completely comfortable. I felt totally refreshed and restored after, i was given time to relax and kate gave advice on how i could improve the tension in my jaw. It was the most amazing experience and i am still feeling lighter and restored almost a week later. By far the most incredible facial I have had and the most lovely and welcoming therapist I have met!

I recently trained one to one with Kate at Talk Skin Academy on the BtoB course. Having never trained in facials before, her knowledge, eye for every detail and patience was incredible and I left feeling excited to continue my learning with Kate and implement everything she has taught me. This may seem extravagant, but unless you experience what I just experienced, you may not understand!! Just a hop, skip and a jump across the pond from Northern Ireland to the Talk Skin Academy nestled outside Great Bardfield, and I was immersed in the most luxurious facial!! Kate welcomed me with a fresh coffee and a homemade bun/muffin which was well and truly massaged off my chops a little while later!! We sat and talked about everything while she was taking mental notes of why my skin was doing what it was doing due to my lifestyle. That chat explained a lot.....just a chat about life and what mischief was telling it's story on my face. Kate is an absolute skin fairy/octopus (hands everywhere) when it comes to your skin story! You can't but love her endearing personality and quick wit. When I popped on to the bed, Kate made sure I was comfortable. That was an amazing experience in itself. She then went to work on me. Words can't explain how superb it was!! My face is glowing and my stress levels are zero, oh and I now feel like a giraffe!...my neck almost needed it's own appointment!! When my time was up and I had to peel myself off the comfiest bed I've ever encountered, I had to stop and adjust my land legs.....I was walking around in circles due to pure euphoria! Kate's facials are one of a kind and need to be experienced to understand how amazing they really are. If you are ever fortunate enough to get an appointment, grab it with both hands.
