10/10 Rating! Arn Sand and Ray are incredible!
I hired Arn Sand after one of my colleagues suggested it. Arn and I had many, many hours of private 1:1 tutoring before I sat in for the 7 Top Off. Arn was FANTASTIC in helping me remember the essentials, and he had such great energy! I will always be grateful for his help! After the 7 I took the 66 (by the way, I used PP for both). I self-studied for the later exam and completed the program with a couple of 80% grades on my final. After that, I enrolled in Ray's webinars (4 day, via online) and I think he truly made the difference in covering the weak spots, or the areas where I was just memorizing and not really understanding. PP is THE best - I just wish they could make a state insurance licensing program and the Series 79.
If you are serious about passing use passperfect; money well spent
So First of all I would like to Thank all of the people that took the time to write a review. I will pass along some knowledge and do the same. Main point is, you would be crazy not to try pass perfect. 1. I used pass perfect and passed both my 9/10 with them. I failed my 1st try on the 9 because I used Kaplan, and while Kaplan is good for the 66 it does not prepare you well for supervisory exams. Pass perfect chapter exams were on point and the chapter exams were amazing, they were even harder than the test which is exactly the key to passing; training harder than the exam 2. I passed my 10 on the first try using both Pass perfect and STC. Again pass perfect chapter quizzes and super hard exams prepared me for the beast of a test. The exam was really hard and the questions were extremely long, so taking all the exams plus online classes ( with top of the line instructors ) will equip you to pass. I love love pass perfect and I am extremely happy I payed for their programs. Thank you Hooty!
Poorly written SIE guide
Pass perfect SIE is the most poorly written study guide I have ever experienced. Chapters will tell you about an issue then thrown in a brand new word, never before mentioned. Surely the is a better written manual
I prefer STC w a textbook
I prefer STC w a textbook. I passed my first three exams (Series 6, 63 and SIE) on first try using STC. This new firm has me using PassPerfect and it has me over-whelmed w all the extra and extraneous information. I failed the Series7 twice; if I fail a third time, I lose my job! I truly think Passperfect is not right for me: a visual and kinesthetic learner. I did much better with STC. I am so relieved that on Round 3 my firm is having us use STC. I need a textbook that I can highlight and now I have one!
4 securities exams passed with PP!
4 securities exams passed with PP! Series 6, 63, 65, and 7 and each exam was passed successfully on the first try. While obviously some exams are more difficult than others (I'm looking at you 65!), overall I felt that PP's system fully prepared me for the actual exam every time. My preference has always been to use the web/online version of the study material which is super convenient; you can login from anywhere/ any device. I always stayed true to the recommended course structure - read ALL content, take the section's practice tests, chapter tests, and completed AT LEAST 5 of the practice exams - and it's proven to be effective. Most recently taking the Series 7, I even took advantage of the video series offered that featured a very well-spoken and often hilarious instructor who would break down complex concepts for every section covered. Thank you PP, you've helped tremendously!
Used for 3 FINRA Exams!!
I used PassPerfect for the Series 7, SIE, and Series 66. I passed all three on the first try. I loved the different ways that I could study the information - Reading, Videos, and Practice Tests. And it was wonderful that the practice tests continually asked me questions in different ways when I was having trouble understanding a concept. Last, a small thing that helped a lot on the FINRA tests was that the layout and look of the quizzes in PassPerfect was the exact look of the actual exams, making me feel more comfortable while taking the test. Would highly recommend to anyone taking FINRA tests!!
There is an ERROR with their…
There is an ERROR with their information. In the MSRB Rules, they have on their exam "The maximum amount that can be given to an MFP to an elected official's campaign in which the MFP is entitled to vote is $250 without any problems." According to the SEC website (wont let me add the link), this has been increased to $350. sec. gov/rules/final/2010/ia-3043.pdf There study material for the SIE is horrible, get accurate updated info and provide questions that are actually close to what is on the test.
Great study materials
Great study materials. Passed the Series 7 and Series 66 on the first try!
Amazing
I used Pass Perfect for both the Series 7 and Series 66 - passed 1st try on both. I was not a Finance/Econ major in school and would NOT have passed without PP. HIGHLY recommend to anyone and everyone. I will never use another vendor ever!!
I was nervous going into this process…
I was nervous going into this process as I wanted to make sure I passed on the first try. I passed the Series 7 and 66 using Passperfect in the past and decided to go with them again. I passed the final practice exam with a score of 95%. So I was confident going into the test. I passed with 25 minutes left on the clock. (FINRA no longer shows passing scores). The practice tests prepared me well. The questions on the actual test are very similar to what the practice test asks you. I’m confident that if I do as well on the Series 10 practice exams I will pass that test as well. Thank you for the excellent training material!
