A long wait (I was last on the list) but not unpleasant. Tea and coffee used to be free at St Hughs but no longer. Once in the procedure was efficient and quick. Following experience with my first cataract at Scunthorpe I was advised to ask for a bloc to control my involuntary reactions which I did but for whatever reason it wasn't given which resulted in the op almost being abandoned for safety reasons. Fortunately I was given one laschance and just about managed to keep still and relaxed. Other than that everything was fine and I am delighted with my distance vision.

I had correction surgery on both eyes within two months of each other. The surgery was performed quickly, painlessly and judging by the results, very skillfully by Mr. Goel. The process from initial assessment onwards was carried out very professionally by a caring team. Always put at ease and with every part of the process explained by the team and given all the aftercare I could want. I am really happy to have my vision restored.

I've had refractive lensectomy with multifocal lens implantation in both eyes, and this was followed by Sulcofklex lens implantation in both eyes. Throughout the process I felt confident with the skills of Mr Quah. He was friendly but professional, and happy to answer questions, explaining the process throughout. He was also patient with my anxiety over my surgeries (I hate having anything done with my eyes!). I did have some reactions initially after surgery and he quickly saw me and was able to reassure me and adjust my treatment to counter the side-effects. As a result of this, my vision is now great, with no lasting side-effects, or need for glasses. I am very happy with the outcome. I am happy to recommend Mr Quah to anyone considering eye surgery.

Excellent treatment from Mr Quah. He is highly approachable, goes the extra mile and extremely competent. I had a few complications with one eye; he recommended me to a retinal colleague, who resolved the issue. I then returned to Mr Quah who dealt with my eyes individually as I had differing vision in each. This has not only sorted out my cataracts but severe astigmatism and given me good eyesight for the first time in my life. No more struggling with contact lens, glasses etc.The whole procedure was painless and quick. I did have some post op problems with one eye but Mr Quah was able to solve this and responded very quickly. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Quah and the eye correction process in general

Mr Say Aun Quah I cannot recommend Mr Quah, Ophthalmologist, highly enough. I have had multifocal lens implantations (refractive lensectomy both eyes) performed by Mr Quah. An extremely quick and painless operation. The surgery has totally transformed my vision, eliminating the requirement for glasses. I recently required an urgent appointment, having got building material in one eye and Mr Quah reviewed me as an emergency and treated the injury with his usual professional expertise.

The whole procedure was carried out in a clam and professional manner. I was kept informed at all times by the nursing staff. The operation was carried out in a short time and pain-free procedure. I now have better and colourful vision
