Worst Ever

Order accepted and money taken. Two days later told that some items out of stock and would not be available for two or three days later. Ten days later no delivery. In the mean time tried phoning but impossible to get through, always message saying nobody available. Left two messages querying order but nobody replied. Eventually sent email to person who advised of out of stock who passed message on, at last I gat a reply saying that the order would not be fulfilled for at least another week. Cancelled order and requested money back. Would not use them again.

Great communication, best price and fast service - perfect.

The product I ordered was the cheapest at Tooltray but the day after I placed the order I received a very polite email to say there would be a delay. 2 days later the item was in my hands - hardly a delay at all! Fantastic - I would certainly use these guys again!

Very happy with their service

Always a bit bit anxious about ordering from an unknown place so I phoned first. The lady answering was very helpful and put my mind at rest. Goods arrived very quickly. I definitely will order again. Not that my order was a large amount.

Excellent pricing & service

Other than trying to deliver to the invoice address which caused the delivery driver lots of fun ! The pricing was the best available even asking for bulk discount pricing from other distributors. Will be back

Poor service

I purchased a chainsaw that took 24 days to arrive and should have come with a 500ml oil which i paid for so far i have had 2 x 100ml it seem that nobody working there can tell the difference. I will not use this company again.

Hopeless

Ordered a Makita hedge trimmer plus ancillary engineering supplies, all of which should have been in stock. Given a delivery date in June, this then changed to the end of July then August, so after 3 or 4 emails had to cancel order, await refund then go elsewhere. Wouldn't use them again..... Emily De Luca Harvey was very helpful but she sounded as exasperated as us with their / their suppliers performance.

False description of goods then deliberate delay on refund

My review as requested by Tooltray's agent: I bought, online, some adhesive but found out shortly afterwards that it wasn't suitable for exterior use even though Tooltray's website said that it was. I cancelled my order the next morning but, 24hrs later, Tooltray said that the 'computer had been programmed' and they couldn't recall the goods. I turned the goods away the next day. Two weeks later I'm still waiting for a refund and Tooltray say they won't issue one because their computer doesn't show that the goods were rejected. Tooltray hasn't chased the delivery company - they've just waited - and kept my money meanwhile!

Lack of communication & no one answers the phone

First time order. I purchased the products 3 days ago to receive today for a project to complete by the weekend. I've received no update from Tooltrade. I've called numerous times but no one answers. I've left voice messages & emailed - I'm awaiting for a responce. So far, not happy!

good price,poor packing.

No instruction manual ,all packing loose under machine ,obviously had been unpacked prior to dispatch and not repacked properly.. Luckily arrived in good condition. Wonderful machine with all the safety features required. Quite heavy for one man to move. Very good value for money.
