When I decided that it was time to change firm, I started interviewing all the firms I could get an appointment with in a reasonable amount of time. I ended up speaking with Emma Birch, and she really gave me the impression of being highly experienced, highly logical, and she understood my situation straight away. I decided to go with Austin Kemp because of the way Emma Birch came across during the first call, and I wasn't disappointed. Emma guided me on how to deal with some proceedings I had pending (and were managed by the previous firm). Meanwhile, my ex's situation changed and we decided to go for a deed of separation before divorcing. Emma's work on the deed of separation has been great, and she delivered it quite quickly. She then guided me through my divorce application and proceedings, which also included a clean break consent order. As it turns out, Emma is pleasant and easy to talk to, she has a huge amount of experience, she is dedicated, she is intelligent, and she does her due diligence. I also like the fact that she tells you what she thinks, being straightforward really helps a lot. I haven't had much contact with other people at Austin Kemp, therefore I don't really have an opinion of the firm. I just know that Emma Birch (who works at Austin Kemp) has done a very good job in my case, and I can highly recommend her personally.

Austin Kemp has good understanding of documentation drafted overseas and do give clients the comfort that those documents are valid in the UK and can help strengthen the case. Good advice, straightforward and when the client is vulnerable they don't tend to take advantage of them emotionally.
