Good experience with device

I found the eXcite device effective. My wife says she's noticed a difference in my frequency of snoring. This company's customer service is excellent.

This is a great alternative for a CPAP…

This is a great alternative for a CPAP machine, as I was worried about having to use one for the rest of my life. It is a little awkward at first, but the results are great. My wife tells me that I don’t snore anymore, and that it has gone down to heavy breathing; which allows her to fall asleep. I’m happy with EXciteOSA.

Definitely recommend

I have completed my 42 days and can definitely report that I feel better, feel like I am sleeping better, feel more energized, and my husband has not noticed any snoring. I was only mildly snoring before, but I was having a lot of sleep disruptions and feeling chronic daytime sleepiness. This device is only for 20 Minutes a day for the first 6 weeks and then twice a week after. It really is easy to squeeze in your day. I set an alarm on my phone to remind me every evening to complete it. Customer service has been great and very responsive with any questions or issues. I definitely recommend this device.

Excite OSA review

My experience thus far has been great. 20 min per day of therapy, is so much more comfortable than wearing a CPAP mask. I have noticed my snoring has decreased. I have been sleeping longer, without waking up. I feel like with further sessions, my apnea will reduce significantly. Highly recommend to anyone who struggles with CPAP. The App and therapy session is very user Friendly. I do recommend though, keep the app open, and do not run in the background. Modern cell phones tend to kill background apps, and you have to restart therapy.

great results

I have upper airway resistance with very poor sleep prior to starting this device. It has made an enormous difference in my quality of my sleep, starting within 4 weeks of using it! As a physician I was concerned that I would not have time to use it for 20 minutes every day but I have found that using it on my drive to or from work and has made it convenient time to do it. I was skeptical but now very thankful to be sleeping much more soundly!

Easy to use and very helpful

Easy to use and very helpful. My symptoms have decreased significantly since starting. Only downside was I was never informed about replacing the mouthpiece every 3 months.

It worked for me!

The only sleep apnea symptoms/risk factor I had was waking up occasionally during the night due to snoring. However, I had started experiencing heart palpitations and my cardiologist suggested I be tested for it. The overnight home test showed mild sleep apnea/snoring. My sleep doc wanted me to use a CPAP. It was very expensive and I am such a light sleeper I did not want to be hooked up to anything at night. I saw the eXciteOSA device in her office and asked about it. I was skeptical but willing to try it. I only missed 1 day in the 42 day trial and did my 2nd (home) sleep test a few weeks later (still using the device daily). Results were mixed so my doc had me do an overnight sleep test in the clinic a month later since it is much more accurate. At this point it was hard for me to know for sure if the device was working. I continued using it daily with occasional skips and I was definitely waking up less at night but I wasn't sure if it was due to the device. My test clinic sleep study results showed NO sleep apnea! I started using the device only twice a week and noticed I was waking up a little more frequently snoring. I went to every other day and that seemed to do the trick. A couple of months later I had gum surgery and had to stop using the device for 3 weeks. What a difference! After several days I started waking up more often at night, then snoring more, then waking up tired. I had not expected a change and it was reassuring to know that the device really had made a difference. I'm back on daily use now until I get my tongue muscles back in shape, then I'll drop down to every other day. 20 minutes a day is no big deal. I brush my teeth as soon as I get up, put it in, and finish getting ready. It's done in no time. Last thing - my sales rep, Joel, and the rest of the Signifier team have been fantastic. No complaints there.

Great for moderate snoring

My husband and I had moderate snoring but no sleep apnea. Each person's snoring would wake the other, and so we weren't sleeping as well as we should. I have a jaw-positioning mouthpiece, which helped somewhat but not enough. We both tried eXciteOSA and our snoring is drastically reduced, now generally occurring for me only when I have a cold or have had more than one glass of wine. Echoing Anna B's review, it might not be possible to eliminate snoring forever, but in terms of effect on sleep quality I would say our snoring rounds to nearly zero. On the negative side is only rearranging your life to be able to do 42 days straight of 20 minute sessions, and then making a couple times a week a habit, but it's worth it. My experience with customer service has also been great; they are real humans who really care!
