Easy to take out a multi policy insurance and the cover provided for the price seems very good. I have insured with Healthy Pets previously and found them very good.

I submitted a claim and waited 7 weeks, no response to email sent. Left a poor review, i was contacted and the claim was escalated and assessed within 48 hours. Customer service did a great job, they accepted responsibility and resolved it quickly. Unfortunately, the whole experience left me feeling like (Healthy Pets) treat pet health insurance as if it were car insurance.

My dog had treatment at the vets on 16th August but sadly couldn’t be saved on 21st August my vets put the claim i paid the excess when I took the policy out it stated claims would be paid out to vets and myself within 10 days two and half month’s later the claim has still not been out I really am disgusted it’s bad enough losing your pet but to have keep sending emails which don’t get answered and phone calls I’m fed up of chasing them up I had other policy on my other dog with them but needless to say I’ve cancelled it now and gone to waggle who came highly recommended by my neighbour who’s vet bills were paid within 3 working days so at least I’ll peace of mind now I would not recommend Healthy pets to anyone you could be waiting months before claims are settled maybe I should of read the reviews first on trust pilot first alot of people have said they don’t answer emails or fob you off with excuses but when your taking the policy out they so helpful so annoying really that they can’t do same when they have to settle a claim

Healthy pets has always been the insurance I have used, and has always been good and quick in the turnaround of dealing with my claim. My last claim was submitted mid September and I am still waiting. Unfortunately my dog has died now and I am left with a big dent in my bank balance and life without my lovely pal. Not sure what is going wrong at Healthy Pets?
