I had not received feedback from his teacher in public school concerning my sons gaps in his education. Looking over his work, I wasn’t sure he understood basic writing/sentence structure. I signed him up for basic mechanics course so I could understand where his gaps were and how to correct them. This course was perfect. This was exactly what I was looking for. Based on his grades I can see exactly where he’s struggling, and help him understand the syntax/rules for writing. I asked my son how he liked the format (online, work at own pace, not a lot of human interaction) and he said he liked that he could work at his own pace, but he missed the human interaction. When I pointed out he could email his teacher, he said “I’m not even sure what question to ask.’ So I made a point to talk to him about his lessons, and if they made sense. We discussed his grades only from the standpoint of assessment/ understanding. Very happy with the course. I’m hoping after we take a few weeks to work on the few gap areas, he will try to do the writing course for enhancement to his 7th grade public school English course. Mrs. LaChance was great, and will most likely sign up for next course! Thank you again!!

My daughter likes it, I like it! It seems easy at the beginning of first two units, but it gets harder. Teacher are always on time and give constructive feedback on how the student can improve. It is a great little extra assignment or homework for those who likes writing, but if you want to depend solely on it just for learning writing and to learn a whole lot, it isn't. Overall it is great program.

At the beginning, the teacher was very attentive to details but toward the end -- there were some spelling and grammar mistake that the teacher did not catch. I am little disappointed.

It's so difficult to know the detail information of the enrolled course, like when to start, what's the specific time slot for the course.
