DO NOT TRUST The first time I called, I was told I had the right to cancel, up to 14 days after my first payment. My first payment was due on 27/09/19 I called them on 25/09/19 to say that I wish to cancel and they tried to demand a £100 cancellation fee. I said that I would not be paying it. I asked Ivor if I would have to cancel my debit card and he replied "you can try buddy". Not very professional in my opinion. He also said he would close my file at the end of our conversation. On 26/09/19 (today) just before I wrote this review, I contacted my bank, as I was concerned about Debt Compare having my debit card details. The bank told me that Debt Compare tried to take £120 from my account at 11:30 this morning. This was not an agreed payment date and they tried to take more than the "cancellation fee" they demanded. This is seriously underhanded behaviour for a supposedly reputable company and I will be making formal complaints to the relevant bodies.

Amazing

The agent jake was unbelievable, I have some health conditions that are really causing me to struggle with my memory and also with my finances but the agent has been so understanding and was so helpful and re assuring really put me at ease and has helped with my stress and worrying ever so much! Would 100% recommend this company can’t thank them or the agent enough.
