Excellent service and brilliant

Excellent service and brilliant, not to mention, delicious product. However, delivery timing could be better, particularly for those doing school runs. Better to be able to choose delivery windows or rather exclude unsuitable timing!

Good choice and so much better than supermarket.

All purchases made to date have been great quality, have ordered online and picked up as local, so not used delivery. Also done butchery course here which was excellent.

Lovely lamb chump chops and mincemeat

Lovely lamb chump chops and mincemeat, ordered online. Good service at counter on collection- the order was ready & waiting for me at time & date in the order. Easy access to shop. The only thing the man behind the counter - I'm guessing he was more butcher than retail!- couldn't tell me was how to redeem my accumulated points. I had not been able to find this out via the website or order page either.

Mixed experience, but overall good enough for 4 stars

First, the positives. Meat is fantastic, we ordered the carnivore box and have been very happy. The lamb chops aren't cut too thick, and the quality is great. The box has stretched further than I expected, and being able to sign up for regular deliveries is fantastic, especially with the great discount on the first box. I had problem with my order in that I accidentally ordered two boxes instead of one. The resolution was a bit mixed - I tried calling several times and the phone was never answered. I finally left a voicemail. Although my call was never returned, I got a refund the next day and only received one box, so it was obviously picked up, so that's good. Unfortunately although that week's order was corrected, the recurring delivery wasn't corrected, so the following week they attempted to debit £250 from my account. I finally registered for an online account where I can manage everything on the website, and sorted it out there. But that's another positive - I like having an online account and being able to pause, cancel, and add products is brilliant. Lastly, the delivery was due on Friday, but the courier was delayed and I got it on Saturday. F2F assured me it was fine and my hubby says all the meat was still cold, so clearly very well packed. Basically a mixed bag of positives and negatives, but I went with 4 stars in the end because everything has been resolved, we are enjoying the meat, and we're keeping our recurring subscription.
