Rip off

The most mis leading people i have dealt with, I completed a cert III in electrotechnology in october of 2021. They run you through a "skills assesment" to determine if you are eligible to go through the course but what they fail to mention is that you only get a certificate that may as well come out of a kellogs box. Out of the 50 people in my "class" only 5 people have been successful in getting a contractors license. You will endure about 7 weeks of online courses that the instructor ( definitely not a teacher ) skips through everything giving you all the answers to your "exam" questions and learn absolutely nothing along the way. They will instruct you to apply through the ACT for your electrical license because it is easier to get, Which is also false. NSW Training has refused my certificate for me to undertake extra courses which i now can't afford because i spent all my money on doing this course ($10,000). I am about 14 months post certificate and no closer to my electrical license. I am going through fair trading now to try and obtain my money back so i can finally finish my electrical license. They will come back and say they don't guarantee a license, But neither does TAFE or any other company similar to them. It is all a absolute BS. Do not trust these people, They won't ever get back to you once you've paid your money

Skills Certified took all of the stress away from the start to the finish of my journey with them. They stayed in constant contact every step of the way and were always very friendly and proffessional. I would not hesitae to recommend their services and i would absolutely use them again if need be in the future.

The Whole process

Original phone operator was good but did need to know a little bit more about the process for my situation The person getting my information ready for assessing was great she was clear with her instructions and answered all my questions in a timely manner I did think the cost was too high when you are paying yourself rather than an employer paying
