The webinar was good, however it was all very surface level information that wouldn't be hard to find with a few quick searches. I guess it would be helpful for international students, but as a high schooler in the US, it was nothing new.

Does Scholarship Owl have a rather large amount of scholarships to apply for? They told me they did, however, I wouldn't know for sure as they would not allow me to look at them without paying for a subscription to their website. I'm assuming I was able to apply for 1, the "You deserve it" no essay scholarship. I assume this because the fine print at the bottom of the screen stated there was "no purchase necessary" to apply for that specific one. I guess that's how they get you in the door. They lure you in with a $2,000 no essay, you deserve its scholarship, then once they get your information, they show you a long long list of scholarships that you "qualify" for. Just to hit you with a rather large membership fee. I did have a chance to browse through the titles of those scholarships they swore I qualified for and a lot of them were not even closely related to something I would be qualified for. The sad thing is, I clicked on their article on Facebook to simply read about unusual scholarships that nobody applies for. I never did find that article. Don't pay people to apply for free money. That is just idiotic.
