The rod I ordered arrived as expected, but the reel took ~3 weeks. It was not made obvious to me that is was back-ordered until I received an email saying so. While on back order, I found that Amazon was selling the same reel for $30 less than what I paid. Instead of canceling my order, I emailed Tackle Direct, and they replied that they cannot match Amazon prices. Not exactly a great policy to keep customers. In any case, I paid more, waited longer, but sadly enough, will not shop here again unless the price is right.

I am a relatively new client of Tackle Direct who lives outside of the US but each time I've ordered items they arrive on time with no fuss, I will be sending another order within the next few weeks and no doubt I will recieve the same prompt replies and service. Thanks everyone involved. Gilly

Great price,quick shipping Looked at the Fishing 13 rod when arrived Seemed fine Couldn’t use it till 10 days later because of work Tried to put line through guides and next to last was full of clear epoxy Called customer service and they would not send another out till I sent this one back with prepaid label Called after no word in 2 weeks Young Lady from CS was short with me and said it hadn’t arrived I asked her to double check and appears it was lost in back She then sent another out and it is fine They had my money for 6 weeks and no rod I guess if I hadn’t called I’d not heard from them again Poor CS
