I recently had external wall insulation on my house using energy saving grants and I am so pleased with it. A surveyor came initially to discuss what I wanted and gave me the estimate. He was clear on the pricing and the grant was about a third of the full price. The company that fitted it were fantastic. So hard working and communicated well on all issues throughout. It was all finished in about 2 weeks and they cleaned up well afterwards. The difference in my house is astounding. I own an old prefab ex council house and it was so cold. On windy days it was very noisy . All that has changed and it looks fantastic too! Definitely a job worth doing and the grant made that possible for me.
