I sought Mindwell's service for…
I sought Mindwell's service for Semaglutate. Their website shows their program is physician supervised, includes a nutrition and exercise plan, and unlimited messaging with their health coaches. I would not say their program is physician supervised. I met with a NP initially, was prescribed the medication and never had any follow-up from them. After 6 weeks, I contacted them. Their welcome email even said, "we will stay in touch to ensure that your titration and treatment is going well." The nutrition plan was directing you to Full Plate Living, there was no exercise program. I was told I would get 2 free sessions with a health coach, which I never received and their website says unlimited messaging with their health coaches. I was never told who or where I could message these health coaches. The only time you hear from them is when it's time to reorder. I feel like this company does not really care about their clients, even though they will say they do. They are money hungry and want to offer this service for a money maker without any effort on their part. My first shipment came unrefrigerated and had a card that said the pharmacy was changing their shipping procedures and it was okay to ship unrefrigerated. My next shipment was refrigerated. Shouldn't of that first shipment been recalled due to not being refrigerated?
Amazing
Amazing! Very helpful
Great experience- if you can afford it
First experience with ketamine. Professional, safe, comfortable, and a friendly staff. Clinical on-site IV ketamine therapy is very expensive.
10/10 Definitely recommend
Everyone I dealt with was awesome and welcoming. The treatment itself was life changing, and I am eager to be able to visit more regularly.

I would not recommend Mindwell
I chose to visit Mindwell for a maintenance infusion after having previously used Greenville Ketamine Center because the location was more convenient for me. I have not returned to Mindwell and have reverted to using GKC. The cost was essentially the same (I think $30-40 less than GKC). The difference in care was vast. This is how my infusion went at Mindwell: I was asked if I preferred a dark or light room. I requested a dark room. I was placed in a room near the reception. The person administering the IV came in and asked me if I had experience with Ketamine. I explained how I had been using GKC and went into detail about how I responded to certain dosages and how my last few sessions the dosage needed to be increased because I was not benefiting from the lower doses (waking up too soon/not feeling relief from my depression symptoms). I was told that Mindwell bases their dose off of weight. She also said that GKC mixes their ketamine with barbiturates and that causes the sedative effect and that their ketamine was pure. Then she stepped out of the room, and the light was left on and the door was ajar. I thought she would be coming back and the IV had not started, and I was not told it was. 10-15 minutes go by and my vision begins to slightly blur and my tongue starts to numb. That's when I realized that the session had started. At that point I was not able to ask for assistance to close the door or turn off the lights. At GKC you are given a lanyard with a button to press if you need assistance. I was conscious the entire session and also heard the ladies at reception talking/answering phones the whole time. The session lasted an hour (maybe a little less). The IV was removed without further interaction and the receptionist came in and said I could call my driver and wait in reception. At GKC I was always given time to "wake up" as I felt comfortable and I waited in my room for my driver. I always also recieved assistance standing or was provided a wheel chair if I felt too unsteady. If a person does not know that walking can be difficult afterwards and is not provided assistance, they could badly injure themselves. Ketamine is a diuretic, so I was also assisted to the restroom after sessions. I am not sure if this was not explained to me because I said I was familiar with ketamine, but if someone was not and they weren't told to empty their bladder before the session, an accident could happen while incapacitated. I was able to make it to reception on my own from the room and waited for my driver. To make things worse, I felt no different from before my session. Even with the lower doses I received at GKC I would feel the immediate serotonin responses the first days after, but they wouldn't last. After my session at Mindwell I did not feel any different. $300+ down the drain. I received a call a few days later to ask how I was doing and I told her I did not feel a difference. She asked if I wanted to come in for another session that week, I declined. I would have if I was compensated in some way for the session that did not work. I would have liked to build a relationship with Mindwell and continue to use them since their location is better for me, but it was not worth risking more money wasted. I went to GKC the next week. I asked about what was said about mixing their ketamine and they said it's to offset the nausea/dizziness that can happen with ketamine. They also said that basing doses off of weight is nowhere near the dose required for a therapeutic effect. I feel very cared for at GKC. You aren't just another patient to them. I can't say I felt anything like that at Mindwell.
A welcome surprise
I mean, my first visit was pretty life changing. Everyone is so kind and knowledgeable, I was immediately put to ease. I was expecting a cold doctor’s office and DMV level service. Instead, I had a casual visit with people who seem to care and genuinely want to help
