I’ve always enjoyed Mountaindrop products and would definitely give them a 5 star rating but unfortunately my last experience has left a little sour taste. I bought from the Mountaindrop uk site as the main company don’t ship to the uk. I ordered the 45g premium Himalayan shilagit £69.99 and recieved the 40g Altai shilagit £54.99 to me these two variations aren’t comparable. I took this as a human error that can easily be made I emailed straight away yesterday of the error with the hope that today being Friday they would ship out straight away and unfortunately haven’t received any reply to my email, I may get a reply next week due to weekend but this now means I will most likely get what I purchased the week after. Like I mentioned earlier I still rate the products I’ve tried 5 star and that wont change, I was tempted to try the Altai but my worry is what if I’m not as happy with it. Update. Thank you for the reply in clarifying and in all fairness I did contact yourselves originally to purchase and were advised by yourselves that you had uk representatives and and the reason as to why I purchased from them. Their whole persona gives the impression that it’s the same company with a uk base but as you’ve explained it’s not and that you’ve distanced yourselves from them. This is precisely the reason why I made it clear that I purchased from the uk Mountaindrop. Maybe it’s worth keeping an eye out to see the outcome as I’m sure they would have been licensed by yourselves and should follow your good code of conduct practice . In all fairness I feel that the companies that Mountaindrop is helping in branding and marketing to exclusively sell there products using similar logo etc gave me confidence to buy , Mountaindrop please do not pass on details of UK NL etc as they are and potentially can have an adverse effect , which is sad as I still will advocate Mountaindrop being a fabulous product , if I buy Himalayan shilagit that’s what I expect not Altai . So I strongly feel I am being fair and honest in my review and 100% stick by it . FINAL UPDATE BEFORE REMOVING SHORTLY AS I FEEL MOUNTAINDROP HAS LET ME AS A CONSUMER DOWN BY LOWERING THEIR OWN STANDARDS AND INTEGRITY . I’ve decided that I will remove this review shortly but I have to say that Mountaindrop have let themselves and consumers down by insisting on distancing yourselves from your licensed supplier , I’m sure you’d soon intervene and threaten Mountaindrop uk and Mountaindrop NL if they started advertising and branding your competitors shilagit on there websites, All you had to say was "we understand your disappointment in receiving the wrong product however Mountaindrop uk is a completely independent company we as a good will gesture will pass on the details as we only try and supply companies that sell products to have the same integrity as ourselves , we are confident that they will resolve the problem as soon as possible. This would have concluded nicely with me accepting and thinking highly of Mountaindrop that they have done everything they possibly could to make a consumer happier. Thank you and I appreciate your last comment and please trust me it’s worth a lot and instilled trust back in.
