I like the stretch material for a comfortable fit But, I have an 85mm (34inch) waist and find that the medium size is a little loose on my body. I have previously, always purchased my tradies in a medium size and I think that maybe a small may have a firmer fit. My old Tradies undies are of a slightly heavier stretch material, that could be the reason for the slightly looser fit.
