I saw an Instagram post about the dark half being used on butcher block. I am not disappointed with my purchase at all. Super easy application. Odor is strong, but it is orange scented, so it didn't bother me at all.

Excellent product. Very easy to apply and use. The color is great. I've used dark half and then re-applied half half on my red oak stair treads, southern yellow pine wood floors, and butcher block countertops. I am very happy with this product.
