I don't know if its you or me, I think me. I put 2 coats of your half and half on my sassafras deck. Its really dark except for the areas where I had it covered from the sun. I want to give you 5 stars so if this is something I can correct let me know.

The colors, no matter how little or much water i added did not match the color advertised. I ordered a sample pack and was dissapointed with the color tones each actually were once painted. Not the full cover colors that are advertised

My 8th grade students were required to use environmentally friendly materials for a project and through their research they found milk paint. It was used to paint the lumber of their sustainably built shed, rain barrels, and vertical garden. The forest green paint color looks nice against a vegetated background; however, after a few days the paint began to turn white. It looks as if watered down white paint was slowly dripped on the walls and ran down. I'm wondering if there was something in the paint that reacted with the moisture in the air and caused it to condense in small amounts on the walls, then as it ran down, the white streaks appeared. A second coat was applied and it reduced the problem, but did not solve it. I am wondering if we did something wrong in our prep before painting. Have others experienced this, too? Have you heard of something like this happening before? What could cause this?

I've painted my butcher board with the Real Milk Paint and I am absolutely delighted with the quality and ease of application. I would recommend this great item for anybody that does not like using bad chemicals.

I'm using the blend on butcher block table tops that were initially treated with food grade mineral oil. The mineral oil had a sticky finish to it. I called for help and was told to wash with Dawn detergent, dry and apply. Thanks RMPC for the advice and so far I'm very happy with the results, repels water and looks great. The finish is nice and smooth, very nice, including a slab we use as a bar out on the deck which gets rain and snow. I'm getting ready to treat the tops again after a year of use, have had no problems. Excellent Product!

I would have given them a 5 star for the product is that good, but the 1 sample I order of Dark Tung Oil the lid was loose and the seal was off so had oil all over the remaining items in the box. The shipping department need to find a better way of shipping their products.

I have been using this product for nearly a year now. I did a lot of online research and forum reading for months prior to installing our butcher block counter tops and how to properly care for them. I found this product discussed in a forum and decided to call the company and ask some questions. The staff that took my call were extremely kind and patient with my question and provided all the answers I was looking for. I ordered the recommended amount of the half and half blend from them and wood wax to accompany the finish. Our counters are beautiful and we love the warm look their product offers in the finish. I regularly maintain with the wood wax every other month around the high use sink area and reapply oil a couple times a year on the whole counter top to keep the wood looking amazing. I would recommend this product to anyone looking a wood care product and especially for wood countertops.
