Outstanding Customer Service!

Cover Letter Now charges for a 'per month' subscription but will NOT send any invoices to your email account. It is 100% on you to check and cancel if you no longer want the service. What really makes me upset about this service is what I would consider a deceptive billing practice. They charge for 28 days of service. This means they get to charge for 13 months of service each year! I have canceled my subscription and will be looking at alternatives if I ever need a service like this again. Very frustrated with this company (is it even legal to bill like this??) EDIT (2023.11.07): Completely unexpected but the Cover Letter Now team refunded 3 months of service! I did not ask nor did I expect anything, additionally I was not I confused about being billed for the product. I did use it for some time after the 14-day trial expired and did pay for the service knowingly. I was planning on canceling at the end of the last billing period but due to the 28-day cycle, I was 1 day late on canceling the service. I have updated my review to 5 stars. A one-month refund would have turned a 1-star review into 4 but I feel this company went above and beyond to 'make it right' and so deserve all 5 stars. If I have another need for a Resume/Cover Letter service, Cover Letter Now will remain as a viable option. I would recommend that the company implement 2 changes going forward. 1) Be more upfront on the billing cycle (28 days is fine if the customer is aware). 2) Send notifications when the billing cycle resets and customers are charged (email, text, etc). Thank you, Cover Letter Now team! My family and I are struggling right now so this refund is very welcome news 🙂.

Smooth Refund

Amazing customer support would give five stars if I was certain I will get a full refund but at the moment currently not sure. I called to get a refund and they immediately were able to refund me half of the money charged and when I requested for a full refund they assured me they will do what they can to refund the other half so I am currently waiting on an email from a rep of my second refund. If I am able to receive a full refund then my experience was five stars worthy since I was greatly assisted.
