It was a fun weekend. It was good to let our hair down, and to make some new friends. What would have made the experience even better, is if the ratio of guides to travellers was higher. Two sighted guides for eleven vision impaired travellers just isn’t enough. Hopefully this will improve in the future.

Went on a Yarra Valley Winery tour recently with Buck from CockyGuides. As a totally blind person Cockyguides is outstanding and Buck is a fantastic organizer. Will certainly be going on more tours and would highly recommend CockyGuides to my friends.

I rarely give 5 stars as I believe all companies can improve. So please don’t see it as anything but room to grow! Travel: the bus was in great order and Buck drives really well. This is a big deal for me as I have had some bad experiences on bus trips before. Accommodation: our cabins were very modern and well fitted out offering private bedrooms with shared living space for two travellers. The only downside was the location, there was nowhere you could travel independently from the park. Being located close to somewhere (beach or town) is important to me. I don’t like feel isolated. Tour: The overall concept and destinations were great, just a few refinements needed. This was the first trip to this region so it is only logical that adjustments will be necessary. Markets are challenging due to their noise and crowds and complexity. For future reference choosing 1 - 3 stalls and wording stall keepers up works well then allowing free time to wander works well. Allocating some extra support in these environments is necessary. The Linden winery was wonderful -such amazing customer service. Hahndorf too was exceptional. Particular the wonderful walking tour guide! Buck is an engaging and knowledgeable tour guide and I look forward to trying other tours soon.

I injoyed a grate day on friday with Buck as anexelent commentator and guide around the Southern highlands. Visiting the Bradman museum, playng a game of blind cricket and many other interesting and fun things along the way. Thank you Buck. I’ll see you on another tour. ☺️👍

Great day visiting private gardens prior to the annual garden festival. We visited four completely diverse gardens and we were introduced to all the owners, who showed us around. Buck was great at getting us where we needed to be and his knowledge of the Blue Mountains was a great bonus. I would really like to try one of the sensory tours that Buck specialises in at some stage. I look forward to another day out!
