Dishonest company

Dishonest company! I ordered a book for $18 and received both a confirmation and receipt via email. The following day, I received another email claiming that Stevens Books had "looked and discovered the book was out of stock." In reality, they cancelled my order and marked the price of the book up to $77. The price change and book are clearly on their website. They just wanted more money. How shameful for a "Christian" bookstore to blatantly lie to customers and hike up prices after an item is sold. I will never order from them again and will be warning others to avoid them as well.

Poor service

The company said they would notify me when my books shipped. They didn't, the books went to the wrong city. By the time I followed through, it was too late. I notified them several times that I had not received the order and that it went to the wrong address. Over three days I have received no response; their customer service numbers are constantly busy. Extremely poor service.

false stock

I ordered a book that I couldn’t find anywhere else, there was one left in stock so I ordered it and got sent an order confirmation. The payment was still processing three days later and then I received an email that it had been cancelled because they didn’t have it in stock. They said a refund would be granted but I haven’t received it yet.I’m also pretty sure the positive reviews on here are false as they all say basically the same thing.

Scam booksite

I agree with all the negative reviews here. I ordered a book which was then cancelled due to a “pricing error” although it is still listed on their website at the same price. Was told I’d receive a refund of the $90 taken from my credit card - after several emails and weeks have passed - no sign of refund. Recommend DO NOT purchase from this site.

Beware!

I purchased a $150 commentary set (7 volumes). It took about a month for the package to be delivered and when I opened it, only 1 book was in the shipping package. I emailed Xasia. She was slow to respond and is now not responding. I will be filing a claim with my bank and this “business.”

Definitely a scam

Definitely a scam, I'm a broke college student and ordered my textbook and it never came and they charged my card and they never responded to my emails. This is horrible.

Ordered printer ink, never received item. No resolution after several emails. I contacted my CC directly. The person I emailed was Xasia Lewis, support@stevensbooks

Ordered a toy and found they are doubling the price and shipping off Amazon. RIP OFF. Definitely NOT CHRISTIAN. Will be protesting the transaction.

I ordered an expensive book as a Christmas present I never received the book I never got any communication that the order was cancelled I emailed twice with no response There is NO phone number to call and inquire. This is why people use Amazon.com instead of taking their chances with fly by night private booksellers who call themselves 'Christians'
