We reached out to Mantis Africa to plan our honeymoon in Rwanda and Uganda . We were paired with Bonita, who took our rather vague input and turned it into the perfect vacation for us. Bonita was patient with and responsive to our interests, and the bonita called us several times to prepare us for the trip giving us confidence in planning As for the trip itself: absolutely amazing! The jeep was ready and waiting every step of the way, and our jasper was all lovely to chat with. (Not having to wait, worry, or otherwise think about transportation, ever, honestly might have been the sleeper luxury of the trip.) We loved the hotels and lodges especially one and only gorillas nest where we stayed on our gorilla trek in Rwanda, then we crossed via the border of Uganda and rwanda jasper our guide was great in and helpful in the process at the immigration my best highlight was the bush plane we took to the Murchison falls in Uganda and the nile boat And last, but not least: we loved all the little touches from bonita and the mantis Africa team along the way.

My sister and I decided to end the year 2022 on a safari and as we had heard much about the East Africa, we looked for some of the best destinations in East Africa. It was our first time in Africa so settling to travel with a safari company was our best bet. We contacted Mantis Africa safaris and the response time was very effective and engaging which was a green flag for us. We didn’t hesitate and sent in our 30% deposit to secure our trip. On arriving into Uganda, we were nervous but our driver guide accompanied by a representative from the office warmly welcomed us and briefed us about the next 9 days. We set out to Queen Elizabeth, Ishasha sector for a chance to spot the tree climbing lions, which we did! Continued to Bwindi for the magical moment with the gorillas and this was just thrilling. We connected to Masai Mara straight from Bwindi on a domestic flight and Mara was the dream safari destination as well as Serengeti which was our last visit before we headed back home.
