Quick to Refund Value of Lost Delivery

I made a large order of 4 pairs of shoes from Shoe.co.uk and then kind of forgot about it. The delivery information they had on me made the shipment undeliverable, and when I finally did decide to look into the missing order I had been expecting, it turned out it had been turned back, and was considered a lost order. Shoe.co.uk DID have my email address, they COULD have contacted me and gotten better delivery instructions, so they're not perfect, but when I contacted them, they agreed to a full refund including shipping immediately, and I had the money back on my card in a couple of days. I can and will use them again, and pay more attention to tracking future orders they send me. Live and learn they say. Time marches on.

disappointing customer service

I was very excited when I saw this site. They have very nice shoes but as happens often when we shop on line I first ordered three of the same pair- 2 different sizes so I can get it right and one different colour to see what suits me best. They say you can return two pairs at a time for free but what they don't say is you can't return shoes at all unless you are able to print their forms from their website. it took me a few days to arrange this as I don't have a printer at home- then sent in the shoes back within the two week period they say they give for returns. To date I have not received my refund although it has been two months. No communications either. No-one has returned my call when I left a message. very disappointed and out of pocket. I checked my dates and realised I had exaggerated a little about the time (though not as much as you say) but why should you have to beg for a returns form from an online shoes retailer? shouldn't that be automatic? And why did you have to post that you had refunded me two hours before doing so? is getting good reviews more important than pleasing customers? I'm now wondering how long it would have taken to get my refund if I hadn't written a review. Did you even bother to check if I had left messages? Thank you for the refund.
