Booked a holiday with a Travel Agent and began to receive correspondence from this company. When the holiday was confirmed, I was surprised to receive paperwork from 'Not Just Travel' t/a Hayes Travel Ltd - not the Agent I had booked with. Since then I have received unsolicited correspondence by email and post from 'The Travel Franchise' and 'Not Just Travel' both of whom appear to be trading names for Hayes Travel Ltd. This appears to be a breach of Data Protection, as my Agent said that they hadn't agreed to share their customer database with their Franchiser - so how else did Not Just Travel obtain my details? Unfortunately for the franchisees it appears this company mines and harvests data to use for Not Just Travel's marketing campaigns. Clearly I did not sign up to such unsolicited contact, nor do I wish it continue. Sadly, I am unlikely to use my Agent again as I'm not sure my details are safe in the hands of their Franchisers.
