Having dealt with Georgie in Henfield we had such a positive view of Setfords. Sadly not anymore, as they use consultant solicitors, it really is the luck of the draw. First solicitor eventually admitted to being too busy and passed to another - 1 month lost. 2nd Solicitor went off sick, no one from Setfords stepped in to let us know or to help. 2 months lost. Even getting a refund was painfully slow, their complaints department in my view had no customer care and when escalated, the Director did not apologise or recognise their shortcomings.

I was recommended Melanie at Setfords by my mortgage advisor, and I'm so glad I chose to use her. From the start Melanie was great, she completed all of the searches thoroughly, and made sure we had everything in place we needed. When it came to getting us to completion we had a very tight schedule, Mel was amazing for us, she was replying to my correspondence nearly instantly, working all hours, and chasing the sellers solicitors constantly to make sure we got over the line. I don't think anyone else could have been so efficient, to get us completed so quickly. Mel was lovely to work with, this is the model of what a conveyor should be!
