I can highly recommend Setfords and particularly Jo Cox, who was professional, knowledgeable, detailed and supportive throughout my recent move of home. Selling and buying is always stressful but having a great solicitor was certainly of comfort.

Not sure why there’s such a disparity between the Trustpilot and Google reviews. I guess some people have a good experience, but we definitely didn’t. They use consultant solicitors so there seems to be much less commitment and care. Our buyer’s solicitor at Setfords submitted key enquiries so inexplicably late in the process it held everything up. She was unhelpful, slow and unresponsive, barely picking up the phone to our own solicitor. The communication we did receive was often open to interpretation and, from our point of view, incomplete. There was a lot of wasted time trying to get to the actual answer. I don’t know, maybe you’ll get a good solicitor. Maybe you won’t. You might get lucky, you might not. Do you want to take the chance?

The solicitor acting was a single point of contact and provided an excellent service - each step in the process was addressed promptly. Highly recommend Setfords Solicitors! We’ve used them twice now for our house moved and both times they were amazing. Dawn Brogan was amazing from start to finish, she was so helpful with all our questions and talked us through each process, she made it so easy!
