Passed my driving test (first attempt) with just 2 faults, wouldn't have been possible without Tan ! He's a great instructor - patient, kind and thorough. Makes sure to tailor to your learning needs and hours, has your best interest at heart and understands when you may have some rough days. He was also more than just an instructor, cliqued and vibed well, easy to talk to, made driving lessons a lot less like a chore and more of a hangout with a friend (that's a bonus!). It has definitely been a pleasure and a very enjoyable experience learning from him, worth travelling from Nottingham for lessons and I already missed them. He's amazing.

Passed today first time with 4 driving faults with a1 driving school thanks to my instructor zaf I came from a different driving school to a1 driving school and got me ready and passed within 3 months would highly recommend a1 driving school and my instructor zaf. It didn’t feel like I was with an instructor felt more like a friend the lessons were really enjoyable and relaxed. I’m really going to miss my lessons if there is anyone looking for an instructor a1 driving school is for you.

The best quality driving school in Derby. Would highly recommend. A1 driving school have they beat cars and the best instructors. I passed my test first time in a short space of time. I am extremely satisfied with the service. I come from Birmingham to derby to take lessons as a they are highly established as they have demonstrated first hand to me. A1 has big plans for the future. I will not ruin any of the surprises. Best instructor is zaffran. He got me passed extremely quickly. I am very happy that I have passed but I am disappointed as I will no longer be able to drive the golf r or see Zaff on a regular weekly bases. He wasn’t just my instructor. He was my brother.

I was taught by Amaar. He was an excellent instructor and as a result of his lessons I passed my test first time with little to no difficulty. His reference points on manoeuvres were particularly helpful and I would recommend to anyone who wants to pass quickly and efficiently.

5 stars For this driving school. My instructor was Muazzam who taught me incredibly well from scratch, he was patient, clear, punctual and I cannot recommend him enough. Hit him up, you will not be disappointed!

Passed today with a1 driving school. I had a previous instructor that things didn’t go well with, so i was recommended a1 driving school by a friend. My driving instructor was Tan! Flexible with lesson bookings and reliable. All test routes were covered so felt confident enough after the support on my weaknesses too. Biggest relief, passing my driving! Thankyou. Highly recommend to anyone looking to start taking lessons and needs lessons working around them!!

Best driving school in derby Took lessons from Zaf taught me everything I needed to know to pass my test I came from other driving school to Zaf as my friend recommended me to come and take lessons from A1 driving school. I’m glad I came and took the lessons from Zaf and A1 driving school as I passed my test today with 4 minors. Passed first time! Definitely recommend A1 Driving school especially Ferzana as she helped me achieve this pass first time she remained patient and also guided me and explained things I was not sure about thoroughly throughout my driving lessons. She was always on time and always boost my confidence which is always a good thing when you feel like you did not do well.
