Used today. Needs 2 persons to apply properly. Used a wallpaper smoother to apply to surface and smooth out bubbles. Also applied a "little" hot air with a hair dryer which assists adherence and lets vinyl conform to minor imperfections on surface or edges. I pierced a few troublesome air bubbles with a pin to let air out and then smoothed over. All in all - worked well - have to wait and see durability.

I found the high quality vinyl I needed to re-wrap my vintage Sansui receiver in the colour and style available from stock at Vinyl Depot. The viny came quickly and was supplied well protected in a tube, this makes postage a tad more expense but it ensures the product arrives safely and neatly rolled ready for use. I bought enough to do the wrap at least twice as the shape I was trying to recover was quite difficult with tight small fold overs and corners so had a few issues with bubbles and managed to tear the first effort but that was me getting used to the material and working it around the shape in a single piece when I could have done it in 2. The end result looks like new again and it adheres very well to the product but I found it really useful that it didnt stick to itself, made tucking and folding edges and corners easier. It also cuts very well and leaves a clean edge that doesnt lift or fray. If I could make a suggestion for Vinly Depot it would be very helpful for one of the staff there to make a video showing how to wrap various objects using your product and what tools you would recommend, I used a old credit card but I have since found others used a platic hand tool that has a soft material edge to settle the wrap flat and remove bubbles, I'm sure with a bit of practice it gets a lot easier, just a suggestion for you. Vinyl is excellent quality and is available in a range of finishes and colours/wood effect etc. Delivery was quick and safe thank you, for anyone who hasnt tried these guys go ahead and order you wont be dissappointed, and no I am not sponsored in any way I am a bona fide buyer and happy customer.
