Rahan

Rahan was the best driving instructor I have ever been taught by! His experience and knowledge taught me loads to get me where I needed to be on test day! Reason I passed! Couldn’t give him enough credit! Very much recommend!

The worst experience

The worst experience . Rubbish instructor named TONY. Terrible service and always late and cancels on the same day, repeatedly ! I would NOT recommend : I had to threaten to call the police on him. I repeat. Do not use ! Him or the company

Fantastic Instructor - Jon

Learnt to drive using Brittania Driving School, my instructor was Jon, great driving instructor, clean car, always looking out for the students. Cannot compliment Jon enough, I passed first time with 2 minors thanks to Jon's instruction.

Jon is one of the best driving…

Jon is one of the best driving instructors after previously having a different instructor from another company who wasn’t very good. He is fantastic at assessing students abilities, strengths and weaknesses. Very straight forward guy. He helped improve my driving ability drastically after only a few lessons. Even my parents noticed the difference in my driving. Jon tries to get to know the students in order to be able to help them to the best of his ability. Very friendly person, and always a clean car! With the help of Jon, I passed the first time with 3 minor faults. I’m going to miss Jon.

Passed with 3 minors thanks to Jon!

Passed today with only 3 minors thanks to Jon! Jon was a great driving instructor, he's extremely detailed and taught me loads of really good driving habits. He was always on time and the car was super clean. He also went out his way to give me extra lessons during and around my test. He's a good laugh too and sets a good environment to learn.

Bad review for Libby driving instructor…

Bad review for Libby driving instructor from britania. Booked a 2 hour lesson with Libby for my daughter / beginner. (I tried to book 6 lessons but was advised to book 2 lessons initially to ensure my daughter got on with the instructor - when i tried to book the next 4 lessons through britania, I was advised they only book a minimum of 6 lessons and therefore they cannot book the remaining 4 lessons. They advised my daughter could book directly with libby and pay cash at each lesson). The first lesson; Libby was provided with the wrong mobile number for the lesson by britania, my number. She was also provided with the wrong adress by britania or she got lost. 30 minutes late for the appt, I received a call from libby questioning the location. After some back on forth on the phone, between myself/daughter and libby, she finally arrived for the lesson. My daughter stood outside for the full time waiting for her. Accidents happen, so no problem at this stage. Libby advised she would make up the 30 minutes at the next lesson. After waiting some weeks for the 2nd lesson, my daughter received a text from libby cancelling at the 11th hour saying she was not going to be working for a while. Questioning the 30 minutes owed to my daughter, the reply from libby was "britania wont refund the 30 minutes" because I was waiting outside for the lesson. Libby either has not been factual with britania about her lateness (and calling me to get the right location) or she is not being factual with my daughter ref britanias comments (no 30 minute refund). Either way; This situation could have been easily rectified. Shocking, AVOID. My review fits in with the rest of the reviews here!

Shocking company!

Having to deal with Britannia Driving School on behalf of my son with regards to a no-show from the instructor on a pre-booked lesson, the service is shockingly poor!!! The instructor failed to show up at the pre-booked time, no phone call, nor text, nor email to say cancelled etc. When we contacted the office, so called Head Office, they didn’t have a clue! They palmed it off to the instructor. It would appear that the instructor manages their Head Office rather than the so called Director managing the instructor! Still waiting for a refund for the no-show lesson! Apparently, according to the telephonist, the so called Management never attend their Head Office so you can’t get hold of them! Avoid…. go elsewhere where you get good service, instructors whom attend when booked and a office team whom want to help when things go wrong and whom have a degree of customer service skills amongst them!!!!

Terrible instructor, Kirith

Terrible instructor called, Kirith. Avoid him at all cost. He will be on his phone most of the time, and wouldn’t care if you pass or not. Once you fail, he will avoid your calls.

If only I could give 0 stars...

6 bad reviews, and 1/3 of them mention Jon... I'm surprised that number isn't higher! Jon is, without a doubt, the worst driving instructor I have ever experienced (I wish I was exaggerating here...), he is incredibly rude and made me feel belittled for the simplest of mistakes, causing me to feel stressed out which made it harder for me to focus during the lesson. He was also incredibly nitpicky, getting angry at me for "closing the car door too hard", and he made some incredibly racist comments about other road users on multiple occasions. For context, I am a well-built male, if Jon has made me feel this way then I would hate to know how he has made others feel... He almost destroyed my motivation to carry on driving, it was only a couple of months ago that I decided to try again with a different instructor, and I can safely say that the difference is like night and day! The new instructor is much friendlier, patient, and calm, and doesn't throw a fit when I accidentally make a mistake or hit the wrong button. I have reported Jon to the DVSA, and I strongly encourage anyone who has had the displeasure of having him as an instructor to do the same.
