Had a first painting done which was lovely so started the process for another. It was for a very special occasion so I left well over 2 months to get it produced. We got so far in the process but then nothing. As time ticked on and no one was responding, I tried calling the number on the website which went through to a Care Home advice line! Eventually got a response but was told it wouldn’t be ready in time. No apologies, no explanation, no discount for the painful service. Customer service could’ve rectified this but there was nothing. Such a shame because it could’ve been a great gift but turned out to be a total waste of time and a frustrating nightmare. Must be artist dependant on what experience you get.

Each step of the process went smoothly with no surprises. Appreciated ability to share my thoughts on the project with the artist up front (which were implemented as requested). Shipped when committed with care and excellent packaging. I was very pleased with the end result as was the recipient of this gift.

The portrait is very good and the process was very easy.

I am pleased with the portrait I ordered. I have a critical eye and think I would have requested more adjustments than I did and it would have looked better in a smaller size. My advice is to consider the size and anything in the photograph you would like subdued or omitted at the outset which would leave you delighted with the result

The painting is fine. The frame is okay, but we’ll need to have it redone. I’d say 4.5 out of 5.

The end result was satisfying but it took me several revision requests to get what I wanted. I am very satisfied with the end result and the price was excellent. The team willingly adopted my suggestions to improve the painting. I have to give them credit for their willingness to please the customer. Brian

PortraitsOnDemand went above and beyond for my paintings! They were willing to work with me and kept in great communication with me through every step of the process! Their artists are absolutely fabulous. I had two paintings done by two different artists and they were both AMAZING and turned out better than I could’ve imagined. I HIGHLY recommend their work! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Second portrait is now being painted. Some confusion on the complexion but we are in touch. First portrait was fine but wished complexion was lighter. I accepted.

The first attempt at a oil of my individuals came with parts not painted or missing like is was brush stokes missing in various spots. I thought it was shipped wet, however there WAS no oil paint on the bubble wrap so it was intentionally shipped in this condition. I was mortified. They did have it redone by someone different which i had to wait.. and it was ok.. i contacted them and said , because of this i thought it was appropriate to offer a free oil or greatly reduced painting.. lol i got the same 15% everyone else gets.. i would say its a coin toss ..i wont be using this service again They redid the piece.. offered a substantial discount on a new piece and the redone painting is gorgeous 💯
