Excellent piece of kit, reasonably easy to assemble, although I suggest you download the owners manual from the Charnwood site (the photos are clearer). Poolwood dispatched the saw quickly, although the company delivering, arrived with just the driver and no taillift on the van; the saw is v heavy!, he had to take it away again, and there was then a delay before they sent a van with tailllift and 2 men, job successful, if only they had done this to begin with, Looking forward to using the saw.

Purchased a Charnwood W824 lathe. On opening found one of the plastic feet was broken. Spoke with Poolewood and they arranged replacement foot from Charnwood that arrived the next day. Excellent service and will certainly use Poolewood again.

My advice, go to Axminster as I have always done, thought I'd try Poolewood as they seemed like good value, nearly a week later order has not even left them. I'll learn from this and stick with Axminster, if only had done that in the first place!
