Explorica provided us with an amazing trip to Costa Rica. We spend 10 days traveling through this beautiful country. We had the opportunity to go zip lining, whitewater rafting, kayaking, relax at the beach, canal tour, hiking, horseback riding and much more. Everything was organized but also allowed for flexibility based on the needs of our group. Everyone I worked with from start to finish was helpful and made sure my questions were answered. I was very pleased and am already planning my next trip with Explorica.

First, my Explorica representative prepared me so well, so that I could prepare my students. All promotional materials made that aspect of the trip easy. Second, they have quality people leading each tour. They know how to connect with people, keep the tour organized, and manage the inevitable issues that arise on any trip. The only complaint I have is that this tour seems slightly overbooked. Some days were so exhausting, that I would recommend adding a day somehow, so that maybe we’re not so ready to collapse at the end.

This was my 7th trip with Explorica. I love working with Explorica. They offer a great product for the price and support it with an amazing team of people.

The company did not make sure the hotels were safe, clean and could accommodate a large student group. They used an expired credit card to reserve the rooms so we lost our reservation and had to scramble last minute. On numerous occasions they communicated inaccurate information and did not update us about changes in our itinerary. They did little to accommodate the vegetarians on our trip. Our tour guide on the actual trip was lovely and fixed many of the mistakes of Explorica. However, these mistakes were all avoidable and speak to the incompetence of the sale representative, who was our main contact. Our school will NEVER use Explorica again.

don't trust in this company.Explorica cancell the trip and they do not paid my money back in the 5 months they still play with my money back. And I paid for insurance and this do not work still do not paid.

Panama is an amazing trip for adults and students...the tour covers everything; history, environment, culture, and economics. Our guide Alvero was professional, informative and an all around wonderful person as was our bus driver Gustavo! There is not one thing we would change about our trip. Every destination on our itinerary provided an amazing experience. We will definitely do this trip with students at our school again!!!!!!!

Just know that when you pay for the additional insurance coverage to guarantee a full refund, you won’t receive it. The insurance company that they use will deny the claim stating that it is explorica that should pay, because it is their own plan to cancel for any reason. So instead of just being out a cancellation fee you’re out a cancellation fee as well as the fee you paid to be covered to cancel for any reason. I should just be out $264 instead I’m out almost $700 x 3 people. Very untrustworthy company.

Disorganized, unsafe to travel with. No communication during emergencies. Terrible terrible experience, if one of your travelers has an issue. Iam a teacher and I hired them last summer and it's never again. They told me I should have left my autistic student with his unexperienced guardian behind in paris when they lost their passport. What kind of company is that? 0 support and 0 reimbursement for the portion we didnt use to get back to the US!! They miss guided us

Amanda my tour consultant is excellent and makes everything easy. Our trip was terrific and I always feel like looks out for our best interest and experience. Her response time is always quick and she is very knowledgeable and helpful. Our itinerary had to be shifted around due to closures having to do with the extreme cold and various attractions' schedules. The Canada ops team did a great job, as did our Tour director Alice to keep us busy and happy. The meals were good and filling. Restaurants were generally quick. All in all a terrific time was had. The Carnaval itinerary is fabulous and I recommend it highly.

The activities that were planned as we toured Brazil were amazing. We saw and did so many different activities that we certainly didn't feel like we missed out on much; Samba dancing in Rio, exploring the Amazon Rainforest, visiting the Atlantic Rainforest on Ilha Grande, enjoying local cuisine and night life-all contributed to an unforgettable experience. Our tour director was knowledgable and advocated when we needed assistance. Our one suggestion would be to rearrange the trip so that either the trip begins in the Amazon or ends there, to eliminate some of the long travel days. But overall, we had an amazing time!
