Long post, but very useful. Sent the basic 15 day statement of comparability in July 28th. Got a message asking for school number on August 12th. My brother gave that number in 2 minutes. Listen, they didn't ask me this when I applied for FAST TRACK. And then they postponed it to 2nd September even though my brother gave in 2 minutes after receiving the email. Was supposed to get on 2nd September. Decided to get e-statement when it comes out on 2nd. They said you can opt for e-statement once the application has been completed. Send them a message anyway saying we will want to opt for that when they finish. Also told them that my brother will need it before 4th September. Today 1st September, they postponed again for another 12 days. Want a refund but I'm sure they won't give any. Scammers. 90 pounds isn't enough for them. Officially hate coming to the UK for study. Why does the UK allow them to still exist. Here's what I got from ENIC UK. A 2 page paper where only one page is relevant and useless. Yes it's useless. You will get admission for college from this though. This is all you get if you studied CBSE (class10). If you get 40+, they will send the comparable qualifications, but they won't compare it for you. They will say GCSE (A*-C/ 9-4), the rest is up to you to figure out the comparison. And they don't consider CBSE English to be the standard of GCSE English even when the medium of language is English. Racism and stereotypical. You get a tick on GCSE Maths but doesn't tell your grade. Ohh and I'm sure my brother will never receive it. Instead of doing this, you can listen to what I said, when comparing CBSE class 10 to UK equivalent (what I got from ENIC UK is...) GCSE (A*-C/9-4)/ Scottish National 5(grades A-C)/ Intermediate Welsh Baccalaureate. Then I got something called UK Framework levels: RQF Level 2/ SCQF Level 5/ CQFW Level 2. I don't bother knowing what it is now, as I don't need any of this for now. This is all I got. This will be the same for everyone, even when you have all subjects marks above 90 (I do). If the school asks you to get this, tell them that it will take you forever to get it because it really is a scam. Unless you pay 200+ quids for this and even then, they take a lot of time. Don't tell me, I can't understand them. That they have lots of documents to compare too. By now, they have scammed 100+ people like us. Within a month, I was able to grasp a lot of knowledge about UK. If they are sitting there telling they will compare qualifications, they should atleast have enough knowledge about it. Indians are common here, so by now, they should have already known everything. If I can grasp so much knowledge in a month, why can't a company do too? They should be used to it. I hate how UK government is so irresponsible to this. My cousin told me to apply this, but I should have known something was fishy. This is why I don't trust other's opinions on something. I like doing things myself. I'm not saying my cousin sucks, he's my favourite but ever since I listened to other's words these past few months (because people told me not to be arrogant), it's been a drag. I kept running into a pit and luck always got me out of it. I realised I'll now post this everywhere I possibly can and you should too. If you want to get this badly for CBSE 10th, tell them that this is what they will send you. I'll post this everywhere so that many people stop getting scammed and instead get into college as early as possible. Luckily because of me explaining this, got my brother into college today. Hahah, ENIC UK, feeling disappointed? I always find a way. I'm sure you didn't even start my brother's qualification comparison. Now to compare the marks yourself: If you have 90+ marks or close to 90 (86+), you get a 9 or strong 9. If you have 80+ or close to 80 (76+), you get a 8 or strong 8. And it goes on... And if you get 0+ or less than 10 marks, you get a U instead of grade 0 To convert those grade numbers (0-9) to grades, I suggest you go search on the internet, but anyway: 9= A* 8,7= A 6,5= B 4= C 3= D or E 2= E or F 1= G U= U Telling the numbers is fine, but just keep this in mind.
