Matt told me a Hyundai i20 was available and would be very similar to my KIA. It was just within my price range. Slightly disappointed it does not have Cruise Control nor Heated Seats like my Kia and there is no SATNAV. I find it has a looser engine than my Kia and has more punch. All in all I rate MJA VERY HIGHLY INDEED for buying a first class 2nd hand Car

From viewing the listing on the website to the moment we drove away in our new car, I have to say our experience of buying a car from MJA was very smooth and stress-free. The sales team were polite, helpful and courteous at all times. Such is the scarcity of certain models at the moment that we drove 3hrs to buy a car from them. The fact they are an AA Approved Dealer gave me reassurance that I was dealing with a legitimate company who weren't going to sell me a banger and waste my time (not to mention petrol!).

MJA service

Offered me trade in but they didn't go through with it. Asked for year mot which I got and error msg which was cleared. Cost me a lot extra to do privately. Bought car for a lot of money only 11k miles on clock needed an £800 repair a week later. Luckily took warranty. Very polite and amenable but for money I paid expected better service.

My experience of buying a car from Simon Mann of MJA in Sunbury-on-Thames for our Church, raised my impression of Car Sales Dealers to a meteoric height with his professionalism, honesty and service to give a customer the best. Simon was very thorough, helpful and extremely sincere in his dealing and assurance to us that his door is always open if ever we are dissatisfied for any reason.

This is a reply to to MJA reply to my review. First of all we had no conversation about the cost of various repairs. After you spoke to the person doing the inspection you came on the phone and just stated you needed to take £500 off the original price. Details of cost for each item were never discussed apart from a vague reference to the alloy wheels. I also note that YOU DO NOT MENTION MY EMAIL TO YOU ANSWERING EXTRA QUESTIONS FROM THE ORIGINAL MOTORWAY COMPANY REPORT WHERE I STATE THAT “THE BACK PASSENGER WHEEL ARCH WAS SCRATCHED IN A CAR PARK, BY PERSONS UNKNOWN. THIS WAS PROFESSIONALLY FIXED.” So you knew about that paint repair. Which by the way is perfect and only spotted by a slight over re spray inside the door. It does not need redoing. I have also examined photos on your website and notice that scuffs on alloy wheels on cars for sale have not been repaired!! They are also in the case of at least one car longer and deeper than on my car. So your reply contains a few ‘inaccuracies’ to say the least. I stick by views. Allan Cowhig You say if you had known about the repair you would have offered a lower price. Why then did you say in your reply to my email stating that a repair had been done “Everything reads straightforward” There was your opportunity to renegotiate or pull out. You didn’t. We had to go through the charade of the inspection. I have moved on I expect you will by making a healthy profit on the sale of the car.

Visited the Sunbury on Thames branch…

Visited the Sunbury on Thames branch this morning with daughter and son-in-law to look for a car. Very crowded site. I followed the arrow pointing to customer parking but no spaces so I parked next to show cars but out of the way. Salesman rushed over to say if staying please park where it says customer parking. There was one space that is missed. I moved there and said I’d followed the arrow. I suggest removing the arrow. He then proceeded to speak sarcastically to us. Asked what we were looking for. My son in law said a family car as baby on the way. The salesman then tapped my son in laws belly saying ‘you hide it well’! Not appropriate at all and yes he has a bit of a belly but is that how to talk to customers? I said please be nice. Then we said need Space for a buggy, and the salesman said well most people buy the buggy then the car. Well, not in our case and for personal reasons which are none of his business. He obviously didn’t want to sell any cars today. Anyway, on a positive note there were quite a few cars of the type we were interested in to look at but we thought they were very overpriced and in any case would not buy anything from such a rude man.

Excellent service from start to finish

This was the first time i have bought a car not from a main dealer. from start to finish Matt was excellent, the transaction was very easy and straight forward and on the day of collection, although Matt couldn't be there, the car was clean, fully checked and ready to go.
