All children are different and all parents have a different strategy as to the best way that they help their children get through their 11 plus papers. My children both went to a state primary and so had absolutely no teaching for 11 plus exams so we were on our own. Even though all the schools we applied for were not represented, just by starting at the beginning one year before and gradually just working through the papers one by one meant that I was able to help my children build up knowledge slowly. the answers were all super clear and detailed. i honestly do not know how i would have managed without this service. it really is excellent value for money and very good customer service.

I bought the exam paper from PiAcademy, it was good to let my son for practicing before the assessment. I was also buying the English Creative Writing, it would teach you how to write the story in proper format and showed you how to write a good story.

Discovering the Pi Academy resources has been a revelation for me and my son who is taking the 11+ and has taken out so much stress. Having at hand so many past papers with all the answers, useful hints and explanations of how to answer a question (including the working out in Maths, and how to structure a piece of creative writing), specific helpsheets for certain areas has been so helpful and makes marking the tests and teaching my child so much easier. We love the mini-tests in English, VR and NVR too, which make learning bite-sized and manageable and my child more confident in his learning, even in the space of one week.
