I ordered a Hayward Pool Heater , the exact same model as I currently had to be replaced. When my pool heater contractor arrived he called Hayward to confirm that they could switch the inlet valves on the heater as was done on the older unit. Hayward advised that they changed the design in the last 12 months and this feature was no longer available BUT they did did not change the Model # ???? SO I had to return the Hayward heater and order a heater from a different mfg that had this ability to switch the inlet valves. So Pool Supply Canada charged me $250 for return freight and a $387 re-boxing fee ( $637 total ) and the Heater was never un-packaged ! The issue stemmed from Pool Supply Canada not specifying on their website that this Model had changed ( though the model # was the same ) So I got stuck with a $637 bill - The Company has just credited me back with the re-Packing fee. Very Nice :)
