Just lost a loyal customer, never coming back!

I had hired a mini van for Easter week to take our children and their friends for their birthday trip we have been planning for nearly a year. I was told there would be no one in the office on Easter bank holiday Friday so just to drop the key into a shoot. We had a really bad luck coming back on Friday, being stacked on a motorway for hours and children being sick. We didn’t manage to come back until late evening hours. I have returned the van by 10 am following morning and have been charged a full day rent!!!! £100 for couple of hours late return. I had been renting from first call in Stonehouse for years, being their loyal customer. The man at customers desk had a really rude snarky remarks and attitude towards myself. I will never come back ever again, you have just lost a loyal customer. It was not necessary to be so rude and charged me a whole day rental instead of couple of hours late return due to unforeseen circumstances. Next time I will hire from MVR, the customer service here is outstanding and they value their customers here.

Cracking service, cracking hire van! Thanks!

I'm going to kick this Gloucestershire company's Trustpilot profile off with a 6 out of 5! Local operator to me in Gloucester, provided van at short notice and reasonable cost. It's clear the operators care for and know their vehicles; the Mercedes provided for use absolutely immaculate. On collection received a comprehensive and instructive brief on operation. 100% transparent on recording minor existing damage on checkout sheet. Insurance terms clearly described. Very smooth vehicle to drive. Stuck in abysmal traffic on way back, no quibble on 15 minutes late for 24 hour hire. Proper return procedure carried out, no hidden surprises to come. First on my call list if I need a commercial van again. Thank you very much indeed! J
