Unfair/ useless app for tradies. It cost a lot to quote a job. And a lot of the jobs are just from people who wants some idea about cost, not an actual job. Here s my experience, 1st quote cost me 30 credit, the guy just wanted to know if tiling is cheaper or timber floor s cheaper. He ended up saying Thank you to help me make the decision that I will go for timber floor. 2nd quote was a spalsh back cost me 14 credit. As its only 2 min away from my site, I only quoted 250 dollars. He said he would call me back if he could not get it done himself.... There was also another quote was the owner wanted to know the Price diff with diff tiles. After spent 130 credit within 2 days, we got 1 actual job from a builder. Overall, its a good place if u wants job done. But if you are a experience tradie, its totally time waste. Also be aware that u can not terminate the "contact" as easy as u think.

I signed up with Hi-Pages and ended up stuck in a 2-year contact when I only agreed to 1 year, because I didn't advise them to stop the contract continuing when I thought it would stop after only signing up for a year I am now again paying for this useless service. As a business owner it is NOT worth the money at all. You pay monthly for so many leads that never return calls or messages, most people are looking for the cheapest quote or just wasting so many trades time and efforts. I would never sign up to this service ever again and I’m trying to get out of this ‘verbal’ contract.

It is the first time I have used Hipages. I didn't know what to expect. I think it would be helpful to have a summary of what will happen. As in you will most probably get 3 people interested & then a standby company. Also that I will be asked for feedback on the trades. You can ring me if you like.

We needed plumber to come fix a cistern within a few days and LRC plumbing arrived to do the job at time which suited. This young man was friendly did a great job left no mess and will have no problem calling him in future and recommending him to others.

I posted wanting restumpers for a rental property I own. I was told 3 would contact me. I waited over a week for the first to contact me and I had to make contact with the other. I did not hear at all from the third. One turned up and quoted. The other made a time, didn't show up then got very angry when I told him I was waiting for him and wasn't happy. I got one quote out of 3 and had to chase up 2 more privately. Won't bother with this lousy service again.
