Driver's Medical Booking Breeze!
I was a little dubious at first booking my LGV1 Driver's Medical online but I really had nothing to worry about... I decided to look online after being left hanging by my own GP Surgery and what swung my decision to go with these guys was that they are endorsed by the RHA. Payment online was half of what I would have been charged and an email receipt request was easy as a brief phone call. The doctor examining was very professional, made me feel at ease and everything was above board. No awkwardness at all. I have no hesitation in using Fit 2 Drive again. Thumbs Up!

Newbury branch, Wendon Road
Appointment at the Newbury branch, October 23rd. Doctor was about as disinterested as anyone could be. Didn’t want to do eye test, “Why didn’t you get it done at an optician?” .. Because you advertise the option to have it done here! Anyway, eye test conducted with insanely bright lights shining in my eyes which I complain about and, at the end, he tells me “Everything fine, but I’ve put a note on your application regarding your eyesight” DVLA promptly revokes my licence, INCLUDING my car, because he noted that I had a blind spot in my right eye! I then have to attend a DVLA approved field of vision test which showed absolutely NO DEFECT at all in my vision, no dots missed and read the smallest line on the snellen chart with ease. Now WHY would DVLA want that, when the only test he conducts is with a chart? Unless my complaint about the lighting upset him? Unprofessional to say the very least. Certainly cannot recommend this particular branch.
