Expired Oils, Misleading COAs & Gaslighting – Do Not Trust This Company

I have been a loyal customer for years, but recent experiences with this company have completely eroded my trust. Here’s what I encountered: Inca Inchi® Organic Active • The product is advertised as “Inca Inchi® Organic Active” and is said to be sourced from the Amazon Rainforest. However, the COA provided lists China as the country of origin. • The product listing states it must be diluted to 1-5%—highly unusual for a pure, cold-pressed oil. Yet, the COA gives no explanation for any modifications or why it cannot be used neat. • Essential information such as fatty acid composition, extraction method, and purity tests are missing from the COA. When asked whether these tests were done externally or internally, they avoided the question. Ylang Ylang Essential Oil • I purchased Ylang Ylang in January 2025 with no expiry date indicated at the time of purchase. • After several emails, I finally received a COA showing that the product had expired in 2024. • Being sold an expired essential oil is unacceptable, especially when no expiry information was disclosed prior to purchase. Shea Butter • I previously complained about the off-smell of their Shea Butter in a review—saying it smelled like cocoa butter—only to later discover that the product had a very short remaining shelf life. • Instead of acknowledging the issue, they dismissed my concerns and claimed that, as a natural product, slight variations in odor are normal. Their response even included a statement about offering various products at different price points, which is a poor excuse when all products should meet consistent quality standards. • Their dismissive response felt like an attempt to gaslight me, denying any real issue despite evidence to the contrary. Final Thoughts This company’s practices are deeply troubling: • They are selling expired products without disclosure. • Their COAs are incomplete and contradict the information on their website regarding product origin and formulation. • Their customer service response is evasive and, frankly, gaslighting—trying to make me feel mistaken about my own experience. For anyone who values quality, transparency, and honest customer service, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. This company cannot be trusted.
