Best car buying experience for a very long time
They understood what I wanted as far as condition of the car and went to great lengths to ensure this was achieved. They also explained what preparation work would be done on the car and confirmed this at point of sale on collection. They would not let me sign the purchase document until I was happy with the vehicle. There were two small items overlooked at preparation but they sorted them whilst I waited. All the staff which we dealt with were both pleasant and helpful, right down to the perfect cup of tea.

Nervous about buying online? Don’t be…
I was very nervous about buying a car without having seen it “in the metal”. Yes, there were photos, a video on request, friendly & professional sales service from Vish, Jay & Arpita. But… paying the day before delivery (fair enough)… What would the car be like when it reached me in Plymouth? Well, it arrived & it looked amazing! Outside it was gleaming; the alloys were unmarked, the paintwork impressive for a 10 year old car. The interior looked astonishingly new! If I was being very, very picky I would advise Mercland to not only wash the car with the convertible roof up… but also with it down. I don’t think anyone had looked at the roof cover with the roof down for years as it was filthy… But, 10 minutes worth of cleaning soon sorted that out. I have had the car for less than 24 hours at the time of writing, but I must say that Mercland are really geared up for distance selling. Their “paperwork” is spot on. Their replies to emails are punctual & their handover process on delivery is superb. Will I change my car with Mercland in the future? If I have another Mercedes, without question! If any after sales & warranty issues that arise are handled in the same way as the sale, they will have created a lifelong customer in me.

Have just purchased a third time from Mercland. As usual outstanding service and car . Whilst servicing and preparing the cls ready for my collection they saw that the brake discs and pads did not meet their standard so they replaced all four , not a cheap job . Car was fully serviced and valeted plus a new MOT. As usual great attention to detail , great customer service and a fantastic car CLS 350 cdi AMG sport at an incredibly competitive price . Yet again I couldn’t be happier . Very well done guys !

Worst car buying experience, ever!
Purchased the car online, before it was delivered on two separate occasions they asked me for large sums of money I had already paid. It was delivered with a blown tyre, paint chips/scratches and a safety recall which upon investigation they shouldn't have sold it with! They refused to take the car back, and as I’m disabled and couldn’t do without the car I was stuck. I took legal advice, but was told as much as the law was on my side, they would make the process last as long as possible before it got to court, that the vehicle would reduce in value so much (through my having to use it) I wouldn’t get my money back. Within a week the infotainment screen was pixelated and the air blower wasn’t delivering hot air only cold! This is when I found out I had a near four hour round trip to Nuneaton to sort the problems out with their six month warranty! The warranty was one of the reasons I purchased the car but I didn’t realise it was only valid at their garage and only covered second hand/used parts with no guarantee! Overall it was an extremely poor experience from start to finish, I would never buy a car from Mercland again and would ask prospective purchasers to take heed and learn from my experience!
