Started my course in September 2024 and over half way through now and it is such an amazing course. Jordan and the other tutors are so good at teaching, so understanding and supportive and patient. They are very accommodating to peoples work schedules too. It’s also such a nice, fun, easy going environment to be in. I cannot recommend this course enough to anyone who’s wanting to be a barber or any makeup artists who want the qualification.

I’ve been training at Dilla Fades Academy working towards my level 2 NVQ in barbering and I can’t recommend this course enough to anyone who’s looking to start a career in barbering. Jordan and the rest of the team at Dilla Fades are so welcoming and really help to build your confidence while you train and gain new skills. The team is very patient and professional and incredibly skilled at what they do! I highly recommend! 😃

I am a makeup artist and so I completed the NVQ Level 2 16 week course and from start to finish, Jordan and everyone at Dilla fades went above and beyond, and couldn’t do enough for you. Everyone was so helpful and really stood by and helped you until you understood! Thankyou for everything!

I work as a hair and makeup artist for film & tv. I felt like I needed to refresh/update my barbering so I did a 1-2-1 session with Jordan to revisit my skills and learn new ones. I had a great day and learned so much- Jordan is an excellent teacher, very clear and easy to follow. He gave me some great advice on equipment too. At the end of the day he gave me a pdf of everything we’d covered during the session and pointers on how to improve techniques. We had a great selection of models- they have a brilliant database of guys who come in regularly. The shop itself has a great vibe, super friendly- everyone who works there is great and very supportive when you’re learning. If you’re considering learning barbering here, I would highly recommend it, whether it’s to have a bit of a refresh like I did, or do the longer course.

I booked a 121 barbering session with Jordan and loved the experience. It’s given me the extra skills and confidence which I really needed to take forward into the MAU industry I work in. It’s always good to learn new skills and keep on top of your craft and this was perfect!! Jordan was a great teacher, easy to follow, patient and very thorough and made it really fun. Thankyou guys

I recently attended a workshop here which has lead me to booking the 16 week training course. The workshop was amazing and very informative. The barbers are highly experienced and there was a great atmosphere in the shop.

I’ve recently finished and passed my Level 2 barbering course with Dilla Fades after absolutely 0 experience barbering and after just 3 months i’m now confidently working in a busy barbershop which was sourced for me by the staff at Dilla Fades who continue with aftercare even after you finish the course. Really welcoming, approachable group of people and the teaching is tailored to you and your level of skill. Couldn’t recommend the place anymore!

I took on the 12 week training and still have not finished yet Jordan and the teams patience , understanding and support continues. The training doesn’t stop once your weeks come to an end. I have also never been to a work place that feels so tight knit either so from the get go you are made to feel like part of the Dilla fade family. I highly recommend I couldn’t have asked for better teachers.
