FORNO Refrigerator nightmare

On May 17, 2024, I purchased a Forno refrigerator through HOD. I have yet to receive a working refrigerator. Web sight showed unit was in stock and delivery would be 5 to 7 days. Delivery was made on June 1st and the unit arrived damaged. I reported the damage within the first hour of delivery. I supplied all the paperwork and photos Forno requested on June 5th. A week later, June 12th, Forno finally agreed a replacement was in order but advised although the paperwork would be forwarded to shipping right away, it would take another 3 to 4 weeks for the replacement to be shipped and there was nothing the adjuster could control. it was stated that the different departments of Forno don’t work in tandem, each has it’s own schedule. It’s now been another 6 weeks and absolutely no word from Forno. What’s REALLY upsetting is HOD’s web sight shows my unit is in stock and estimated delivery time is 7 to 10 days… What the heck, people? Another request was emailed 48 hours ago and no reply from Forno as of this posting. Try and imagine what it’s like living without a refrigerator especially in a Texas summer? It is exceedingly frustrating, inconvenient and very expensive. HOD has no urgency to help remedy this situation. My experience is HOD only reacts one time per inquiry with absolutely no follow up or push for an answer. My last call to HOD I requested the CSR to advise management of the problem… She said she would advise management of the problem yet no call back from management. There are no words to describe my bewilderment as to HOD’s and Forno’s lack of concern… Very rude and inconsiderate way to treat a customer….so, BUYER BEWARE…This, too, could happen to you.

Arrived so fast!

I had purchased the fan itself online elsewhere and discovered that the chimney was too short to meet my tile line, so I contacted about 4 places that stock Z-Line to buy the chimney extension and ONLY Home Outlet Direct was responsive. I had a very courteous conversation with their representative and they sent out the chimney extension. After it arrived, the electricians opened the body of the fan and discovered that the moulding piece was missing, I had no hesitation in telling them to pack it up for return to the local dealer, I was going to order the fan itself from Home Outlet Direct. In spite of the hurricane here, the fan arrived. So, Home Outlet Direct made a nice sale (of the extension) and because of their response I bought something else that cost three times as much from them. They have great follow-up from their sales team and I was very happy.

Faucet review

We have been looking for a restaurant/industrial style faucet for quite some time. The ones in the big box stores seemed flimsy and cheap looking for the price. The ZLine faucet may have cost a bit more (not much though), but it was precisely what we were looking for. Well engineered, sturdy, easy to install, excellent water flow, and it looks great. I would highly recommend this faucet and manufacturer to anyone searching for this type of faucet. Would recommend Home Outlet Direct as well, they were great to work with.

Quick turn around - 5 stars

I give you guys 5 stars for turn around time and the Thor products exceeded all my expectations. I previously used Viking products and Thor is all that and more. Hell, the dishwasher has a light in it, how cool is that.

Very impressed by the quality and craftsmanship of the wood hood I purchase. I researched lots of different hoods and this was the best price with the best equipment that I found online! Shipping was very fast and I was impressed by the responsiveness of HOD's customer service, would definitely buy from this company again!
