First juice cleanse and won’t be the last

This was my first juice cleanse and was very apprehensive about how difficult it would be. First day was hard going but the juices tasted amazing. I really enjoyed doing the 3 day cleanse, felt great by day 3. Can’t wait to do the 5 day!!!

Disappointing

I ordered Press based on reading/watching instagram reviews and had really high expectations - sadly these weren't met. The programme is really expensive for what you get. I had a discount code - sent to me based on selecting a package item and found this doesnt work on packages. Even though it doesnt state this in the T&Cs anywhere - i flagged it with their help team who were really unhelpful. The juices are full (and i mean full) of sugar - i ate/drank more sugar in the 5 days than i have in 6 months of eating healthy. The evening meals - I had two huge problems with these. Firstly they tasted awful, the risotto in particular was inedible. Secondly, about half required additional ingredients (rice etc). Given the amount it costs I found this quite ridiculous. And my last issue is the amount of packaging and wastage. I've ordered from other food subscription boxes before so know it is possible to reduce the plastic. However the PRESS wastage was insane. All in all, I wouldn't recommend, too much sugar (I put on weight in the 5 days), too much waste and utterly inedible.

Not as good as previous boxes

Sadly, not as good as the first two deliveries and i’m not sure why. I have previously ordered the 48 hour detox and 48 hour immunity plan. I wanted to give the 48 hour detox plan another go and for whatever reason the juices all tasted ‘off’. The soups were ok and unaffected. After sampling the majority of the juices, i was wary they had been left out to get warm or something was wrong with them and therefore did not take the risk to drink them. My partner agreed they tasted ‘tangy’. It was a shame as i was unable to complete the course and will probably go back to another brand that i have previously used. Although, the first two deliveries were delicious and i really enjoyed the detoxes so maybe it was just a bad box.

One of the things that I love about…

One of the things that I love about Press, besides their wonderful products, is their customer service. I had ordered the new soup and juice cleanse (which is amazing - much easier and more satisfying than the juice cleanse)...and they accidently sent me the juice cleanse. When I notified them they immediately corrected it....and I got to keep the extra juices!

I have had a shockingly bad experience…

I have had a shockingly bad experience with press. A work colleague gave me the 20% off code for my order. I went on and put the order through and the code simply wouldn’t work. I did place the order and thought I were oils contact customer services. It turns out because I did a two week program the code isn’t valid. Firstly when I put in the code it should have stipulated this. Secondly it simply isn’t clear but sure it is in the t&cs somewhere. On contacting customer services they did respond quickly and were polite. However were not willing to show any gesture of goodwill. In terms of the products overall they are decent quality. However the risottos are poor and it is extremely expensive for what you get. I definitely will not be ordering again and if you want to detox or loss weight there are far more cost effective ways.
